Hey class!!

You all did a great job today with the exception of your little "hick up" with snowflakes in library.

Math: POW #13 due tom., Study link 7.3 due tomorrow

Writing: Be prepared to present your persuasive letter to a group of your classmates

Vocab: WW3 due tomorrow.  Quiz tomorrow.

Reading: No reading reflection this evening :).

Science: Your adaptations project was due today.

Other: Be mindful that GeoQuest is on North Africa this month... please look over this information when you can.  The test will be at the end of this month.

Welcome Back!!

I hope everyone had a fabulous winter break and are feeling refreshed :).

Since you all had a homework free break, I expect that you do not have any difficulty applying yourself now that you're back in school.  Remember, if you use your class time wisely, you will minimize your homework load.

Math: P.O.W. #13 due Friday

Class: There are about 20 potatoes in a 5 pound bag. A restaurant uses about 2 potatoes per order of French Fries. They charge $.95 for an order of Fries. How much money does the restaurant take in on a day that they use 400 pounds of potatoes?

Challenge:A team of scientists found that there were 4 oak trees for every 10 pine trees. How many oak trees were there if they counted 36 more pine than oak?

Vocab: WW3, quiz on Friday.  Cumulative text for units 3-5 on the 24th of this month.

Reading: One Reading Reflection (question and summary)

Science: Adaptations Project due Thursday
