Assume all cars will be traveling the same distance.

This week

Hey class!

I enjoyed getting to chat with many of your parents for conferences.  Be aware that this year will be ending faster than you know -- it's important to master your study skills, time management and content knowledge before you leave 5th grade... and that is not going to happen by simply sitting in class.  You need to participate, study hard and ask questions if you don't understand something.

Here's an overview of this week:

What's due for tomorrow:
Math: homework (my group fractions, area, volume, PEMDAS work)
Writing: Pre-write for flag project/speech
Reading: Reading Reflection (only if you didn't do one yesterday)

What's due at the end of the week:
Math: POW
Vocab: WW2, Quiz on Friday as well

Special note:
You all start oaks tests in two weeks... don't slack!  Practice your comprehension skills on your reading reflections.  I have printed off challenge math packets too if you're wanting more review or more problems to work on.  Communicate your needs so I can accomodate them :).
